Meet Our Veterinarian:
Dr. Jewel Abee, a Harmony, North Carolina native, graduated with honors from Oklahoma State University School of Veterinary Medicine in 2016. Dr. Abee has cared for small animals, large animals and even tigers! After spending the last 4 years with the Humane Society of Union County and the Monroe Low Cost Spay and Neuter Clinic as the Medical Director and Surgeon. Dr. Abee is eager to serve the animals in Harmony and the surrounding areas.
In her spare time, she enjoys riding horses, spending time with her husband and family, and traveling. She has quite the mix of animals from horses to a pet lamb. Come meet her today!

Sarah loves all animals big and small.has 2 four-legged fur babies of her own. Over the last 12 years, she has worked at both a large animal and small animal veterinary clinic. She has a degree in office administration and very excited to be a part of the team at Ginstone Spay, Neuter, and Wellness Clinic. When not working,Sarah loves spending time with family, cooking, traveling, and gardening.

She moved to North Carolina when she was 15 years old and her first job was a helper at Why Not An American Ark in Monroe, North Carolina where her love for animals started growing. She moved to North Carolina when she was 15 years old and her first job was a helper at Why Not An American Ark in Monroe, North Carolina where her love for animals started growing. As an active member of the FFA, at Piedmont High School, animal science was a favorite class.
Alexess began working in the veterinary field before she even graduated high school. She started with an internship and from there, she knew she always wanted to work with animals. She has been working with Dr. Abee for almost 5 years.
When not working, she loves doing puzzles, fishing, or sitting by a campfire with all her friends listening to music. Alexess has a true passion for animals of all kinds with her favorite being cows. One of the first things she did when working with Dr. Abee was foster a tripod after surgery and ended up keeping “Precious”

Meet Abigail! Abigail grew up in Iredell County, North Carolina, and loved animals for as long as she can remember. Ever since Abigail was a little girl, she had a passion for caring for animals and knew she wanted to work with them one day. In October 2025, Abigail began working with Ginstone as a veterinary assistant.

Since joining the team, Abigail has enjoyed the many learning opportunities and truly enjoys getting to see and help care for all the cats and dogs that come into the clinic.
Abigail adopted a kitten named Hobo Bob from our clinic, and also has another cat named Sky. Additionally, she has two birds, Sunny, a parakeet, and Cricket, a starling, that she has raised since he was just 2 weesks old! Outside of work, Abigail enjoy reading and spending time with her family.

Meet Paige! Paige is a lover of all animals, and grew up in northern Iredell County. She was an active FFA member at North Iredell High School where she enjoyed taking all of the availableanimal science courses. Paige then attended college at NC A&T State University where she received a Bachelor’s degree in Agriculture Education.

While Paige has a love for education, animals have always been her passion. She is very excited to be a part of the Ginstone team!
In her free time, Paige enjoys traveling, and spending time doing anything outdoors with her two children, and her fur babies. She has a Corgi named Willow, a Chocolate Labrador named Marley, and a cat named Kitty. She is looking forward to adding another fur baby to her pack soon!

Angie is incredibly excited to combine her passion for building deep relationships with her pure joy of meeting everyone's fur babies. In fact, she is a walking example of “Can I pet that doggie?!”
When she isn't showering your pets with love at work, Angie treasures time with her husband and big family, which includes five daughters and four grandchildren. At home, she is kept busy by her own two beloved cats, Sassy and Jinx.
